A GDPR Audit is based on five stages – each of which will have clearly defined activities, deliverables and effort estimations. Based on your company size, ambition and the availability of key stakeholders, we can provide certainty on meeting your expectations in a timely and cost effective manner. The complete process can range from ten to thirty days depending on the size and scope of the audit as outlined in the services.
The more work put in to the planing and preparation phases of an audit, the smoother the conduct of the audit. We estimate that up to 20% of the total project time is required for both the Plan and Prepare phases.
Using our unique methodology, maturity model, and deep-dive checklists, a further 50% of the project time is required to Perform the compliance audit. This phase involves both interviews, cross-checking, verification and validation steps.
The results of the DP Audit are documented in a formal manner and presented to the organisation in a standard report with formalised findings. This is part of the concluding stages in this Report phase. If the audit determines areas of non-compliance, further Follow-Up actions may be necessary to close out these issues.
