Services: Legal Audit

As the name suggests, the DP Legal audit will focus on the legal components only.

Customers may further choose to select specific parts of the organisation or specific service offerings/ products. This type of Audit is often selected by a specific department or project team within the organisation to help highlight legal risks.

This audit covers common topics such as:

• Contracts and procurement
• Consent and Legal ground in terms of documentation and application
• Legitimate purpose for all processing activities and the strategy to go from consent to legal ground
• GDPR and alignment or conflict with other legislations
• Data transfer
• And more

A specific Legal Audit Report is prepared at the conclusion of this exercise and will target both the topics in scope and the root causes for triggering the exercise.

At the conclusion of this Audit, a report is prepared which presents the results against the GRPR and related regulations.
